One of the neatest things at Animal Kingdom is the African Safari. You get into this jeep and ride through the "African Plains." There are no fences...the animals just roam around wild. It is so neat as some of the animals are really close while the more dangerous ones are not so close to the path the jeep takes. The kids really enjoyed seeing the animals in their natural habitat.
Rhinos
A hippo
A bunch of alligators
I don't remember what these are called but look at those horns!
A beautiful giraffe
Elephants
See the lioness on top of the rock
This ostrich was very close...watch your fingers!

You got some neat pics of animals! I think those long horned things are Ankole cattle...but can't tell for sure in the picture. Ankole cattle are native to East Africa. Looks like a great trip!
I just googled it to double check my guess. Those are, indeed, Ankole cattle! (When David and I were in Africa, we were mostly among the Ankole people of Uganda.) :)
Wow...I'm impressed at the habitats...I was picturing the animatronic animals and settings from the Jungle Book boat ride at Disneyland from the 70s. I've got to get myself to Orlando!
