Thursday night before school was out for spring break the 3rd grade classes at Taylor's school put on a Freedom Musical program. It had all patriotic songs and the kids were all dressed in red, white or blue. It was very neat. Not all of the 3rd graders participated in the program but Taylor really wanted too. The pics didn't turn out very good b/c we were sitting pretty high in the bleachers.
Part of the 3rd grade classes (there are 18 3rd grade classes with about 20 students in each class).
Before the program started
Some of the songs incorporated hand movements
The last song was really neat and the kids used different colored plates along with the hand movement.

School performances are so neat, and what great memories. My sisters and I still love watching home videos of our school shows together:)
Wow!!! 18 classes of 3rd graders. That's a bunch of kids. I'm sure the program was great! Love those patriotic songs. The girls have a couple of cd's with some of the patriotic songs on them, and I'm glad they seem to like those songs.
I have certainly enjoyed chatting with Taylor during dinner at H2H group. She's such a sweet young lady.
I like what they did with the plates...cool idea...and economical! I, too, can't believe there are 18 third grade classes at Taylor's school...Wow! That's amazing! It looks like she really enjoyed being in the program. :)
I can't get my mind around 18 3rd grade classes!! I had no idea that school was that huge.
Taylor is such a special girl. I'm glad she wanted to participate.
