Swim Class Fun!

A few weeks ago the kids ended their 2 weeks of swim classes. They had such a good time and learned a lot during those 2 weeks. Madison is still taking private lessons with Anna who taught both Taylor and Caleb's class.

Taylor's last day was spent learning some safety lessons after working on her strokes. They learned how to save someone who was drowning with numerous different tools including a pool noodle, a towel and a lifeguards floatation device.

Taylor saving her teacher from drowning (can you spot what Taylor is doing wrong?)

Yep, you don't lean over the water while saving someone b/c you can end up in the water yourself :)

Anna showing them how to do a back flip off the diving board...they were so impressed!

Caleb working on his dive.

And Madison had to have her picture made with Anna too :)

Wow! Caleb and Taylor are great little swimmers!! Guess all that time spent at the pool really helps perfect the skills they learn in the lessons. Also, looks like you had a really good swim teacher! When we took lessons back in May, we had a teacher who had never taught Allison's age group before. While the experience in the pool was great, we didn't really learn a lot! I'm glad your kids had a fun time with lessons.

Sounds like Anna did a good job with the kids! I'm glad they had fun! I love the shot of Taylor saving her teacher and landing in the pool herself. :)

It was nice that all 3 kids had the same teacher...you really got to know her, and more importantly, she really got to know your kids. I never felt like Will and Sam's teachers were very approachable...heck, I don't even remember their names! Ha! Glad it was such a good experience for all of us, though. :)
