Snow, snow and more snow!

Yesterday the kids were out of school for MLK day and got a surprise by waking up to beautiful snow falling! They couldn't wait to get out in it and play. After bundling up really good we went out. This was Madison's first snow to every play in and she really enjoyed it. She would roll up a tiny ball, chase you around and throw it at you all while giggling :) The older 2 also enjoyed the snow. We played for about an hour before going in to enjoy some hot chocolate and lunch. The snowfall continued and we went out and enjoyed it again later (that will be in another post though).

Wasn't it fun?? Can't believe we got to wake up to a fresh blanket of snow this morning and do it all over again!

I love the picture of the snow covered trees in the back yard. It was a pretty snow indeed. Looks like the kids had a blast! Love the action shots of the snowballs! I'm still hoping for a really big snow event this year, but we'll settle for what we can get.

Oh my gosh. I am so jealous! We had the beautiful snowfall but it was gone once it hit the ground. I'm glad your kiddos got to enjoy it though. There's nothing like playing in the snow! :)
